PKR Case Study

PKR is the world’s most advanced online poker room, featuring stunning 3D graphics and fully customizable characters. We have been working with PKR since 2005 and are proud to call them our oldest client.  

The Challenge

  • Build PKR’s brand awareness by advertising in poker/men’s lifestyle magazines in the UK, Pan Europe, Canada and Australia.
  • Drive traffic to the site www.pkr.com
  • Increase the number of depositing players on PKR.com
  • Develop TV advertising in Scandinavia and Germany.

Our Response

As our original brief was to launch a print campaign, Jack Media sourced the strongest poker titles in the industry. In addition to this we also sourced men’s lifestyle magazines whose core audiences were 18-35 year old males.  To add further value we negotiated a free editorial which gave PKR the opportunity to explain who they were and the USP’s they had to offer. After our successful print campaigns, the brief was extended to include TV advertising in Scandinavia and Germany.  To best meet our clients goals, we pushed advertising on TV channels with a strong young male audience and channels that offered low CPTs.

Results

Our TV campaigns immediately resulted in an increase in depositing players.  Through our advertising campaigns in press and TV, PKR is now one of the most respected poker
operators for young men in the UK, Europe, Canada, Australia and Scandinavia.
